Sydney Sweeney seems to be enjoying her time in Queensland, most recently being spotted at a major Gold Coast hotspot.

A video posted to TikTok on June 29 showed Sweeney, 28, meeting and taking pictures with fans at the Burleigh Pavilion.

Posted by The Self Styler, the text over the video read, “POV: You go to the Burleigh Pav for work drinks and Sydney Sweeney is there…”

The clip showed a group of women shocked to see the Hollywood A-lister, followed by several of them taking pictures with a seemingly cheery Sweeney.

The star appeared more than happy to pose for a snap, also taking the time to chat with fans.

“Sydney, you’re amazing and we are huge fans,” the caption read.

Sweeney has been spotted out and about in Australia as she’s here filming her upcoming film, Gundam.

She’s made the time to catch a Sydney Swans game, climb the Harbour Bridge, and even enjoy a romantic getaway on Hamilton Island with her partner, Scooter Braun.

But it’s definitely not the first time Sweeney has made the journey Down Under, shooting her first film in Australia in 2023 when she starred in Will Gluck’s Anyone But You alongside Glen Powell.

“We got to film in Australia and show off Australia, which was really cool because there’s so many beautiful things about Sydney, especially where you have the Sydney Opera House, the harbour, the beaches,” she told Marie Claire Australia ahead of the film’s December 2023 release.

“We also got to embrace the culture. I hope people see our movie and all want to travel to Sydney.”

While Anyone But You predominantly filmed around Sydney, Gundam has taken Sweeney to the Sunshine State.

Alongside her co-star, Noah Centineo, Sweeney is mainly working out of the Gold Coast’s Village Roadshow Studios, along with multiple sites across Queensland, including Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport.

The film is based on the popular Japanese franchise of the same name, reimagining the existing property as a live-action feature film.

Following the story of a war between Earth and its former space colonies, Gundam stars Sweeney and Centineo as two rival merch pilots forced into an alliance to protect the future of humanity.
