VETERAN figure Brendan Hogan will again steer the ship for Tickford Racing’s Supercars wildcard effort this year.
Hogan is an experienced engineer who worked with the likes of Mark Winterbottom, Will Davison and James Courtney before spending a stint as team manager at the Blanchard Racing Team.
His return to Tickford has largely centred around its burgeoning Super2 program, although he did slot in as race engineer for the 2025 Rylan Gray/Lochie Dalton enduro campaign.
Hogan will continue in that capacity for all three of Tickford’s wildcard rounds this year, through which three of its Super2 juniors will feature.

First up is Reuben Goodall in Townsville; Ben Gomersall will then take part in the Ipswich Super440 before joining forces with Campbell Logan for The Bend 500.
Wayne Bourke, Logan’s Super2 engineer, will be team manager while Bayden Charlton serves as data engineer for the #5 Ford.
Dilan Talabani, who has been pivotal in prior wildcard projects, is expected to stay back at base spearheading the Tickford Engineering arm of the business.
Tickford has opted against fielding a Bathurst 1000 wildcard this October, given it will already have six cars running between the top and second tiers.
