Network 10’s Queensland office, the broader Paramount ANZ team, and the Australian TV community are mourning the loss of long-time sales leader Kat Droulers.

TV Blackbox understands that news of Kat’s sad and sudden passing was shared with staff by Paramount ANZ’s Chief Sales Officer Rod Prosser via a video call this morning.

Droulers had been a fixture in Queensland media scene for years, and was recently promoted to lead the newly integrated Queensland sales team as State Sales Director for Ad Sales earlier this year, following the network’s acquisition of regional television licences from SCA and WIN Network.

At the time of her promotion, Sales chief Rod said, “I’ve worked with Kat for over 20 years in various capacities, and I’m thrilled to see her step into this leadership role in Queensland.”

Meanwhile, the network’s GM of ad sales, Nick Bower, then added, “Kat brings an authenticity to her leadership that resonates strongly with both our team and our clients.”

During her several years at Network 10’s Queensland TVQ offices, she built a reputation as an industry leader, guiding teams and helping shape the network’s sales strategy.

Colleagues and industry peers have described her passing as a very sad day for TVQ and the wider network, reflecting the impact she had across the television community.
