As one of Klutch Sports’ premier clients, Maxey shares a strong connection with James that could help convince the 41-year-old to join Philadelphia.

Per reports, James made it clear that money is not his main goal in his next team. As such, with the addition of Brown to join their fantastic core of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe, the Sixers present a contention possibility for LeBron to win his fifth NBA championship.

Beyond Maxey and his Klutch Sports connection, the 76ers also have another meaningful tie to James through Mike Gansey. The new Philadelphia president has a longstanding relationship with the future Hall of Famer dating back to their high school days.

Gansey’s brother, Steven, recently shared a throwback photo of Mike and LeBron together, further fueling speculation about the 76ers’ pursuit of the former Lakers star.
