TULSA, Okla. — This Fourth of July marks 50 years since Elvis Presley took the stage at the Mabee Center for a special bicentennial concert.
To celebrate the anniversary, a Graceland endorsed Elvis tribute artist recreated that iconic performance on Saturday.
Cote Deonath performed the original set list while wearing replicated costumes inspired by Elvis’ 1976 show.
“To be celebrating such a concert such as this with historical significance now in 2026, it’s literally the embodiment of the American dream,” said Deonath. “Elvis Presley came from nothing and became an icon that is celebrated to this very day. It means the world.”
The Mabee Center even reached out to people who watched the original show and found unreleased footage from it to make Saturday night’s show even more incredible.
