The Sunday Telegraph yesterday reported the former Sunrise presenter may be paired with Sylvia Jeffreys -temporarily at least- as Nine plots a new path for its breakfast show.
Sarah Abo is tipped to commence her maternity leave after Thursday’s broadcast.
This will buy the network some time to trial presenters before locking in its successor to Karl Stefanovic.
Media continue to speculate about successors, suggesting names such as James Bracey, David Campbell, Charles Croucher, Tom Steinfort, Michael Atkinson and even Rodger Corser. One even threw Robert Irwin’s name in the mix.
But don’t rule out an old-fashioned poaching either….
