A five-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car in Perth’s east on Tuesday afternoon.
As reported earlier today, officers from WA Police’s major crash unit are investigating after the boy and his mother were hit by a silver Toyota LandCruiser on Belgravia Street, Cloverdale, about 4.25pm on Tuesday.
They were struck on the road next to a park where soccer training was taking place.

Witnesses rushed to help, with one performing CPR on the child until paramedics arrived.
The boy was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital in a critical condition, while his mother, 48, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police confirmed on Wednesday morning the five-year-old had died from his injuries.
A WA Police spokesperson said the Toyota’s driver stopped at the scene and was uninjured.
