For the first time since 2017, the UFC is back in Oklahoma City to host a Fight Night event. This card is headlined by a star-studded main event featuring two former champions, Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman. This week’s UFC Fight Night begins at 5:00 p.m. ET with the Prelims and concludes with the Main Card at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

Studs

Christian Leroy Duncan ($9,100)

In the co-main event of this card, two top-15 Middleweight contenders, No. 10 Jared Cannonier and No. 12 Christian Leroy Duncan, will face each other. They are currently at different points in their careers, as Cannonier is 12 years older than CLD. Before challenging for the title, Cannonier won five of six fights, but after that he has gone 3-4 in his previous seven contests. Cannonier is coming off a loss to Michael “Venom” Page and is 1-3 in his last four fights.

Meanwhile, Leroy Duncan has won four consecutive fights and is 6-1 in his previous seven bouts. CLD beat Roman Dolidze in his last fight in March. Cannonier’s latest victory came against Gregory Rodrigues in February 2025. Leroy Duncan has the physical advantage in this contest, as he is taller (6’2″ vs. 5’11”) and has an edge in standing reach (79″ vs. 77″). 

Although Cannonier has a massive edge in big fight experience, his best days seem to be behind him. On paper, Leroy Duncan’s striking is on a different level. He averages more significant strikes per minute (4.43 vs. 4.42), while having a higher striking accuracy (57% vs. 49%) and absorbing fewer punches (2.59 vs. 4.35) from opponents. CLD should be able to find success against Cannonier, who has been extremely passive in his recent fights. Leroy Duncan has scored at least 99 fantasy points in two of his previous three wins. 

Austin Bashi ($7,900)

Austin Bashi, who lost his UFC debut against Christian Rodriguez, followed it up with a first-round submission against John Yannis in August 2025. Bashi is 14-1 with nine career finishes, with his last six wins coming by knockout or submission. His opponent, Delgado, is 8-1 in his previous nine contests and is coming off a win over Andre Fili. 

Delgado is a lot bigger, as he has a five-inch height advantage (5’11” vs. 5’6″) and a four-inch larger standing reach (74″ vs. 70″). But Bashi is used to having a physical disadvantage and should be able to neutralize that with his aggressive nature. Delgado is the better striker, landing 7.48 significant strikes to Bashi’s 1.75. But Bashi is excellent defensively on the feet, allowing only 2.34 significant strikes from opponents. 

Bashi does his best work on the ground, where he lands 6.30 more takedowns per 15 minutes than Delgado. Also, when Bashi gets opponents down, he always looks for a finish, as five of his last six wins have come by submission. Bashi scored 110.2 fantasy points in his last contest and seems to be just scratching the surface of his potential at 24 years old. 

Value Play

Kamaru Usman ($7, 200)

The “Nigerian Nightmare,” Kamaru Usman, former UFC Welterweight Champion, is back at 185 pounds. Usman last beat Joaquin Buckley in his last fight a year ago. Usman’s last appearance at Middleweight came against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294 in October 2023. Although he lost that fight, it was a majority decision, and Usman took the fight on short notice. At 39, Usman still has gold on his mind, and a victory against Dricus Du Plessis would put him in a firm position to challenge for a title at 185 pounds. 

Although Usman is once again coming off a long layoff, the last time he stepped into the Octagon, he put on a spectacular performance. Usman recorded 108 fantasy points as he won a unanimous decision handily (49-46, 49-46, 48-47). Du Plessis last fought in August 2025 against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 319, where he lost 50-44, 50-44, 50-44 on the three judges’ scorecards. His last win was against Sean Strickland at UFC 312 in February 2025. Although Usman is moving up a weight division, he matches up well with DDP. Both fighters have the same standing reach (76″), while Du Plessis is slightly taller (6’1″ vs. 6’0″).

Even though Usman is the sixth-cheapest fighter ($7,200) on this card, he averages the second most fantasy points (111.6). Usman recorded 108.9 points in his last fight and has totaled at least 100 in his previous eight victories. If Usman is the aggressor in this contest, he should be able to find success. That is because Usman lands more takedowns per 15 minutes and is the more accurate striker, absorbing fewer punches. Also, although DDP has found success on the ground, he has a 34 percent takedown defense, which could cause him trouble against Usman.
