It was a dirty night for the Tigers and when Twal was given his marching orders with just over ten minutes to go, they were trailing 26-0 and already down a man in the bin, meaning the Dogs had a 13 on 11 advantage for several minutes.

Twal’s shove on Salmon started a fracas, with players of both teams coming together before Twal was eventually binned, much to the delight of the Bulldogs’ faithful.
“It’s gone. You can’t do it. You don’t see this emotion from Alex Twal,” Mick Ennis said on Fox League.
“It’s an open hand strike. It’s totally unnecessary, you’re in the bin,” referee Tyson Brough told the Tigers lock

The forward would return to the action with just 40 seconds left when his ten minutes was up and started another minor skirmish when he went face-to-face with Bulldogs’ Josh Curran.
