The Golden State Warriors announced their home preseason schedule Monday, with three games in October at Chase Center. The slate begins Tuesday, Oct. 6, with a 7 p.m. contest against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors will play two other exhibition games at home: Saturday, Oct. 10 against Sacramento (5:30 p.m.) and Friday, Oct. 16 against Portland (7 p.m.). The team’s complete preseason schedule will be announced later.
Tickets for the three home games will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. with “exclusive pre-sale events,” according to Golden State’s news release. The general public will have access to tickets starting Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The NBA hasn’t yet announced its regular-season schedule, though games likely will begin the week of Oct. 18. The Warriors opened last season on Oct. 21, beating the Lakers in Los Angeles.
Curry will return for his 18th NBA season, with Lendeborg joining the Warriors for his much-anticipated rookie season. Lendeborg led Golden State to the NBA Summer League championship Sunday in Las Vegas, the team’s first summer title since 2013.
The Warriors still haven’t finalized their roster, as they and the rest of the basketball world awaits LeBron James’ decision on which team he’ll sign with as a free agent to play in the 24th season of his career.
