Jessie J, 38, has confirmed that she and her boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, 42, have split after five years together.
The singer, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, shared the news on social media and explained that they ended things “some time ago” and it has been a “sad and difficult” situation.

Jessie, who announced in May that she was cancer-free almost 12 months after her breast cancer diagnosis, shared that they are now navigating co-parenting their son.
“Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago, it has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co-parenting environment for our son, and ourselves,” she wrote in a lengthy caption on Instagram.
“Unfortunately being in the public eye this is the easiest way to let people know the truth, before rumours circulate or a false narrative is written.”
The Domino hitmaker shared the post alongside a snap of herself, Colman and their son in matching tracksuits and added that they will continue to support each other with love and respect as friends, but most importantly as parents.
“So if you see us out and about together as a family, or posting each other on socials every now and again. That’s exactly what we are doing,” she continued.
“Raising and loving Sky together, supported with a positive friendship.”
The Price Tag singer turned off comments on the post, but it has been liked close to 100k times, with her followers showing their support.

Jessie and Colman, who is a former professional basketball player, were first linked romantically in 2021 and went on to welcome their son Sky in May 2023.
In an interview in 2025, the singer described having their son as a “happy ending” after she experienced a pregnancy loss in 2021.
“I adore this boy and this man so much, I could tear up,” she told People.
She has also previously addressed why she and Colman didn’t get married.
Jessie said she would love to get married once their son is old enough to understand, but felt like the fact that they shared a child meant they were already pretty locked in.
