Mosaic is known for its high-end handcrafted titanium bikes. But the new AR-Zero takes “high-end” to the stratosphere. Framesets run for USD 11,000. That is, right now, over $15,000 in Canadian dollars. Again, that is just for the frame.

That is a staggering price tag, even in the world of high-end bikes.
The bike? The AR-Zero is the latest in Mosaic’s “Zero Ops” program, attempting to push what’s possible with handmade bike design. That started with the RT-Zero, a road bike platform that also features the carbon fibre seat mast and seat post topper adding a little flare to the otherwise titanium frame.
The AR in AR-Zero stands for all-road. Verging on gravel bike, Mosaic bestows clearance for 40mm tires without giving up the speed and fun of a raid bike.
The AR-Zero also launches the latest Artist Series design. The Chrysalis Artis Series is a stunning bit of work to make your AR-Zero stand out, as if it wouldn’t already, as a piece of rolling art work.
Mosaic is keeping this release tight. The brand is “accepting orders” for just 30 bikes, that’s a combined 30 RT-Zero and AR-Zero, during this launch period. The brand says “Production remains intentionally small, not to manufacture exclusivity, but because every Zero Ops bike requires extensive machining, fabrication, and finishing.”
Pricing is, as mentioned USD 11,000 for the frameset. That includes frame, fork, Enve one-piece integrated cockpit, carbon seatmast and Mosaic Carbon Topper, and Artist Series or Shadow finishwork.
Bikes range from USD 20,000-24000. In Canadian loonies that is, for complete bikes, in the rage of $28,200 to $33,851.
