LINCOLN Taylor will become the sixth driver to make their Super2 debut in 2026.
The young gun will represent Matt Chahda Motorsport at Round 3 in Perth, slotting into the ZB Commodore driven by Jordyn Sinni at the opening two events of the season.
Taylor raced for the Walkinshaw organisation last year in the Toyota GR Cup, and credited them for helping make this opportunity possible.
“Very excited to announce that next weekend I will be making my debut in the Dunlop Super2 Series at the Perth Super440,” he wrote via social media.
“I would like to thank Walkinshaw Foundation Academy for their support in pulling this opportunity together, and for giving me the chance to take the next step towards reaching my racing goals.
“I will be driving with Matt Chahda Motorsport and will have Warren Luff in my corner guiding me through my debut.”
MCM also fields Matt Chahda, with both its Holdens leased off Walkinshaw TWG Racing. Luff is team manager for Walkinshaw TWG’s Toyota 86s program.
Taylor joins Bayley Hall, Alice Buckley, Tommy Smith, Hamish Fitzsimmons and Rossi Johnson in the class of 2026 Super2 debutants.
