Driver Aaron Zerefos will continue his 2026 endurance racing campaign at Sandown Raceway next month after joining Vast Motorsport for the ARDC Production Car 3 Hour.
Zerefos will share the #90 Flipside BMW M3 with Amar Sharma, with the pair set to compete in Class X at the event on Saturday 8 August.
The BMW is the same car that finished third in Class X and ninth outright at April’s Bathurst 6 Hour, where it was driven by current Supercars Championship driver Jack Le Brocq.
Zerefos said he was looking forward to joining the Vast Motorsport squad, which also fields Sharma in the Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Australia Championship.
“I’ve known a couple of the team members, Barrell and Harry, for a long time so I’m excited to work with them,” Zerefos said in a media release.

“It will be my first race in an outright Class X production car, so I can’t wait to experience the BMW M3’s performance and contend for a great outright finish as well as a strong result within our class.”
Vast Motorsport said Zerefos had impressed the team with his performance at Bathurst earlier this year.
“Zerefos really impressed us this year at Bathurst and it’s great to have him in the team – he’s a safe pair of hands with a big following in Australia and the US,” the team said.
The entry will be backed by Flipside, an energy drink brand owned by entrepreneur Adrian Portelli.
Zerefos’ beverage business, Drinkscene, recently began distributing Flipside products.
“My Drinkscene beverage business recently started distributing Flipside products and we’ve had an encouraging response in the market, so it will be good to represent them on the track, along with our other brands such as Fiji Water, C Coconut Water, Milk Lab and Add Water,” Zerefos said.
Zerefos will take part in practice on Friday 7 August, ahead of the three-hour endurance race on the Saturday, which will be live streamed on YouTube.
