Two-time Grammy winner Laufey has spoken glowingly of her debut showing in Perth following the launch of her national tour at RAC Arena on Saturday.
The Icelandic singer returned Down Under with her A Matter of Time Tour, and is slated to play eight total shows before heading further east to New Zealand.
On Tuesday, she thanked WA fans for their support as she posted highlights of the night to social media.
“Thank you for a beautiful first show Perth 🧡✨🧡 it feels so good to be back!!! see you in adelaide tonight!! ⭐️⭐️,” she wrote.
A carousel of images depicted the singer prancing around the stage in a golden dress and heels, before flexing her skills on the guitar, piano, and cello.
The multi-hyphenate musician was supported by British-raised singer Leonie Biney who will follow her throughout the Aussie jaunt.
Scores of Perth fans expressed their joy in seeing the pair live.
“Thank you for coming all the way to Perth for us Lover Girls!” one fan said.
“Brilliant show. Thanks from this Perthling,” another said.

The ethereal artist is known for her signature blend of classic pop and jazz, woven together through themes of love and self-discovery.
She claimed the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2024 for her record Bewitched, and followed it up in 2026 by winning her second with A Matter Of Time.
Laufey’s first ever Australian tour came in winter 2023, before returning the following year to greater fanfare and sold out shows across the east coast.
