The team has remained unusually silent on the co-driver front, even with the two-event swing at The Bend and Bathurst fast approaching.
Although still not ready to publicly confirm any names just yet, Brad Jones says there’s no big secret being kept.
“I don’t think there’s going to be any massive surprises,” he said.
Bryce Fullwood lost his full-time ride with the squad at the end of last year and has long been expected to slot in as a co-driver alongside Andre Heimgartner.
Fullwood will replace Declan Fraser, who moved on to a full-time opportunity with PremiAir Racing this season.
BJR Super2 driver Brad Vaughan and enduro regular Jordan Boys are meanwhile tipped to return alongside Cam Hill and Macauley Jones respectively.
Eventual confirmations from BJR will lock in the Bathurst 1000 grid, which is set to feature 26 cars following news of Garry Rogers Motorsport’s wildcard.
GRM is returning to Supercars to field Nathan Herne and James Moffat in a Chevrolet Camaro purchased from Triple Eight.
The now Team 18-run Supercheap wildcard for Craig Lowndes/Bailey Hall will tackle both enduros, with an extra Tickford entry featuring debutants Ben Gomersall and Campbell Logan is nominated only for The Bend.
The Bend 500 will take place on September 11-13, with the Bathurst 1000 to follow on October 8-11.
