Johnson’s arrival was revealed on the social media accounts of the team.

Alize Johnson has played in more than 60 NBA games throughout 5 different seasons since entering the league in 2018.

The 30-year-old arrives in Europe with five seasons of NBA experience for the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, New Orleans Pelicans, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs.

He had his best season with the Nets in 2020-21, averaging 5.2 points and 5 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game across 18 appearances.

Johnson spent the second half of the 2025-26 season with the Shenzhen Leopards, averaging 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists while shooting 63.1% from 2-point range. He helped the club reach the CBA semifinals and recorded seven double-doubles in 24 appearances.

His best performance in China came in a victory over Xinjiang, where he finished with a season-high 29 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. He also came close to a triple-double against Sichuan, posting 17 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.

Before moving to China, Johnson opened the season in the NBA G League with the Iowa Wolves. In 35 minutes per game, he averaged 19.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.0 steals, establishing himself as one of the league’s most productive bigs.

Johnson produced multiple standout performances for Iowa, including a season-high 41 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists in a win over the Valley Suns.

He also recorded two triple-doubles: 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Delaware Blue Coats, and 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists in a victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors.
