Of special interest to fans will be a Nov. 17 home game against the in-state rival Washington Huskies. The Cougars will only meet the Huskies on the women’s side this year, and not the men’s.
WSU will open up the season on the road at California on Nov. 2 and at Oregon on Nov. 6. The Cougs return home for a three-game homestand after that, hosting Idaho, Southern Utah and UW.
WSU will partake in the Cancun Challenge over Thanksgiving weekend, first facing Kansas.
Another month of alternating home and away competition later, Wazzu will take its final nonconference road trip to play in the Hawk Classic at Philadelphia Dec. 20-21, then host Cal State on Dec. 30 before beginning play in the new Pac-12 after the start of 2027.
