Former F1 boss Boullier becomes promoter of World Rally Championship – RaceFans

Former Formula 1 team principal Eric Boullier will has a new role as the promoter of the World Rally Championship. He will also be responsible for running the European Rally Championship in a new deal announced by the FIA.

“I take on this challenge with enthusiasm and determination, but also with humility and a strong sense of responsibility, to make these exceptional championships even more compelling,” said Boullier. “Alongside the FIA and our partners, we want to make every round a spectacular event, designed to thrill fans around the world.”

Boullier entered F1 as team principal of Renault in 2010 and last served as team principal of McLaren until 2018.
