Team 18 and Dick Johnson Racing have been locked in a battle over fifth in the teams’ championship for some time now, and it is Charlie Schwerkolt’s squad who has edged back ahead following a productive Perth.
Brad Jones Racing likewise has now got its nose in front of Matt Stone Racing in the battle for seventh.
The field will expand to 27 cars for Queensland Raceway – the biggest solo-driver grid of the Gen3 era – thanks to Tickford, Team 18 and MSR each fielding a wildcard.
