It happened to Jaguar in the World Sportscar Championship round at Jerez 40 years ago today. Oscar Larrauri and Jesus Pareja won the race in a Brun Porsche while Derek Warwick and Jan Lammers recovered to bring one of the Jaguars home in third place.
