Dubbo-based construction group Maas has pumped an additional $300 million into data centre developer Firmus and secured new electrical contracts worth $855 million with the company, which is building artificial intelligence factories in Tasmania and South Australia.

As reported by The Australian Financial Review’s Street Talk column, Maas paid $230 a share to increase its investment in Firmus, lifting its stake to 3.2 per cent, as Firmus completed a new $2.9 billion capital raising in a bid to secure support for a proposed $15.5 billion float on the ASX.
