With the clock ticking towards one of the industry’s most anticipated events of the year, MegaTrans 2026 is just one month away from bringing Australia’s transport and logistics leaders together to shape the future of freight.
Held on the 16-17 September 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event will provide a platform for leaders from across the supply chain industry to connect, collaborate and explore the technologies and strategies driving the next generation of transport and logistics.
A major highlight of the event will be the Operator Hub, presented by Geotab, which will bring together some of Australia’s largest transport operators onto the show floor. Companies such as Amazon, Team Global Express, UPS, DP World, Maersk and more have all signed on and will be present across the two days.
The VTA Alternative Fuels Summit will also return in 2026, co-located with MegaTrans. Bringing together industry experts to examine the transition towards cleaner transport solutions, the summit will explore the practical challenges and opportunities surrounding alternative fuels, infrastructure requirements and the pathway towards a more sustainable freight future.
Adding to the conference offering, the Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association (ASCLA) Conference will deliver a program focused on critical issues impacting the logistics and supply chain sector.
The MegaTrans Main Stage will feature an impressive line-up of speakers, including Andrew Newman from Freight Victoria, Bruno Porchietto from Victoria International Container Terminal Melbourne, Summer Steward from Team Global Express, Stephen Forshaw from Airbus, Mark Mazurek from Linfox and Hermione Parsons from Australian Logistics Council.
The event will also provide plenty of opportunities for attendees to connect beyond the conference sessions, with Networking Drinks, sponsored by Allotrac, offering an informal setting for industry professionals, exhibitors, speakers and decision makers to build relationships and continue conversations from the show floor.
Molly Hancock, Head of Marketing – Events at Prime Creative Media, said MegaTrans 2026 will provide an important meeting point for the industry at a time of significant change.
“Transport and logistics are evolving rapidly, and MegaTrans provides a space for industry leaders to come together, share ideas and explore practical solutions for the future,” Hancock said.
“From alternative fuels and technology to operational challenges and workforce needs, the event program has been designed around the issues that matter most to the industry right now.”
With only one month remaining, registrations are expected to accelerate as the industry prepares to come together for two days of learning, networking and collaboration.
