As revealed by the team in a press release, Armando Bacot has signed a 2-year deal with the Israeli champions.
“I am very excited to join a historic organization like Maccabi Tel Aviv. I’ll try my best to help us win and improve,” Bacot stated briefly via the club’s official website.
“Armando Bacot is a player we have been following for a long time. Tall, talented with very high-level offensive abilities,” said coach Oded Katash after the signing.
“We are sure he has a lot of room to improve, and we like that. He is an intelligent guy who plays with a high IQ. We are happy that he is joining us and look forward to starting to work together.”
In his debut EuroLeague season, Bacot saw limited playing time under Sarunas Jasikevicius at Fenerbahce, averaging 10 minutes, 2.4 points, and 1.8 rebounds per game.
In the Turkish league, he averaged 6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game.
