If you’re not into Sport then TV isn’t offering very much to excite you on Thursdays.
It’s pretty hard to get excited about Free to Air when there is so much repeat content on a Thursday night.
Some of those are to ‘complement’ various sport on screen, but not all of it. And even Gogglebox signalled this week it will be moving to Sundays…. fingers cross for first-run content in its place.
Home & Away is always first-run and last night was rewarded with top in entertainment at 818,000.
7:30 was 653,000 then Back Roads (400,000), The Dog House (282,000 rpt), and where they screened Highway Patrol (242,000 rpt) and RBT (235,000 rpt)
AFL was 594,000 then NRL at 505,000.
Seven News was #1 at 1.37m then The Chase (693,000). Air Crash Investigation was 197,000 (rpt).
Nine News drew 1.22m then A Current Affair (930,000) and Tipping Point (772,000 rpt) Emergency (219,000 rpt) followed.
ABC News pulled 850,00 then Grand Designs (368,000), Hard Quiz (396,000 rpt) and Treasure & Dirt (89,000 rpt).
10 News was 307,000 then Millionaire Hot Seat (252,000), Deal or No Deal (172,000 rpt), NCIS: Sydney (176,000), 10 News+ (157,000) and 10 Late News (98,000).
SBS World News was 208,000 / 142,000 then Mastermind (104,000 rpt), Spain With Michael Portillo (119,000), Eva Longoria: Searching For France (68,000) and Say Nothing (49,000).
The Morning Show: 295,000 / 179,000
Today Extra: 156,000 / 98,000
