It also includes a larger battery, a new 48MP camera, and a new game controller function. The Fold model also incorporates the latest Tensor G5 processor.

It also features a bigger battery, an added 48MP camera, a new game controller function for more immersive gaming and our latest, most powerful Tensor G5 processor to fuel the Pixel features you know and love.

Exclusive to the Fold is the Instant View feature, allowing users to preview photos instantly when the phone is unfolded. Gemini Nano and AI Features

For the latest iteration of the Pixel series, Google’s Tensor G5 chip, developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind, is the first to support the Gemini Nano model. The company states, “Co-designed with Google DeepMind, Tensor G5 is the first chip to run our newest Gemini Nano model. And together, the combined power of Tensor G5 and Gemini Nano will make your everyday life easier by running many complex, generative AI experiences on-device.”

The AI enhancements bring deeper integration of features like Camera Coach, Magic Cue, and Gemini Live. According to Google, “The Pixel 10 series come with AI enhanced features to help you take the best photos, and also help you out in your daily life. Gemini is now integrated with your Pixel’s camera, and you can look out for the new Camera Coach feature which uses Gemini models to suggest ways to improve your photos – like choosing different framing and composition for a shot.”

Magic Cue and Gemini Live also offer proactive assistance by linking information across various apps and providing real-time solutions. Google explains, “Other new AI features include Magic Cue to connect the dots across your apps, like Gmail, Calendar, Screenshots, Messages and more, to proactively surface relevant info and suggest helpful actions when you need them. For example, having your flight details appear on the call screen when you’re calling an airline! You can now get more help from Gemini Live – by sharing your camera so Gemini can provide guidance by highlighting the solution directly on your screen.”

Buyers of the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold will receive a year of Google AI Pro, which offers access to image and video generation tools Imagen 4 and Veo 3.
