The South East Melbourne Phoenix have reportedly added another key piece heading into the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season, signing Yannis Morin on a one-year deal.

The French big man stands at 6’10” (208 centimetres) and most recently played with Joventut Badalona in Spain.

Morin’s professional career has seen him play in Spain, Japan, France and the United States.

The 33-year-old forward would join Skylar Mays and D’Shawn Schwartz on a Phoenix roster that was knocked out in the Playoffs last year but showed significant improvement under newly re-signed coach Josh King.

Yannis Morin has agreed to a one-year deal with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, sources told ESPN. The 6’10 forward out of France is coming off a season where he played for Badalona in the Liga ACB, as well as the Toyama Grouses in Japan.
