Robertson previously played for Scotland at the 2022 edition of the ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup, though his efforts against Canada clearly outshone anything he had previously done on the cricket field.
“Tired, but what a day it’s been, Robertson told Cricket Scotland after the match.
“I don’t think it’s really sunk in what’s actually happened, but yeah, it’s been a good day.
“Obviously, getting told by docs that I’d be making my debut today was a really, really good feeling.
“I’ve worked hard this year to get where I am, and then pretty relaxed. I felt pretty good, just went about it normally through the full day.
“When I got the ball, I felt a bit shaky, but after that first one landed, I felt quite good.”
