Dolly Parton has been forced to pull out of another major appearance as she continues to battle health issues.
The country music legend, 80, was due to appear at her Dollywood theme park in Tennessee for the launch of its new NightFlight Expedition ride.

Instead, fans were welcomed by Parton on a screen after her doctor ordered her to stay home in Nashville.
“Hey, Eugene, I’m right here,” Parton joked in a video played at the event, per footage posted by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
“I’m still in Nashville and I’m sorry about that. I’m supposed to be there in person like we planned.”
Parton then explained that she was experiencing some health problems.
“Now, I’ve told you before, all my fans, that I’ve had a few little health issues and sometimes I get a little dizzy and I get dehydrated and I’m dehydrated,” she said.
“And so my Nashville doctor kind of clipped my wings, saying you ain’t travelling this week.”
The singer, who appeared wearing fairy wings, told fans she had to listen to her medical advice.

“So I guess if your doctor tells you ‘you ain’t travelling this week’, you ain’t travelling this week,” she said.
“But I like to keep all of you in the loop, like I said I would on everything.”
Parton finished by asking attendees at Dollywood to enjoy the new attraction without her, telling the crowd: “You have fun and I will see you down the road.”
The last-minute cancellation comes just months after Parton revealed she was still recovering from health problems and cancelled her planned Las Vegas residency.
In May, the Jolene singer told fans she was on the mend, but wasn’t ready to return to the stage.

Parton previously revealed medication and treatment had left her feeling “swimmy headed”. Getty
At the time, she revealed some of her medication left her feeling “swimmy headed” and joked that being dizzy while carrying instruments in five-inch heels wasn’t a good idea.
Parton said she had suffered kidney stones and revealed her immune and digestive systems were “all out of whack” over the previous couple of years.
The 9 to 5 singer has spent almost six decades in the spotlight, selling more than 100 million records worldwide and becoming one of the most recognisable stars in country music.
