Seven’s Logie broadcast wins and is up on 2025 numbers. The Block a close second for its room reveal.
The Logie Awards topped entertainment viewing last night according to preliminary figures.
The annual event drew 1.49m viewers in National TV audience, an excellent number with 1.32m for the Red Carpet portion. The better evidence of how it dominated will be in the network evening share: Seven 46.1% then Nine 25.4%.
Both are up on preliminary numbers for 2025 which were 1.43m / 1.29m.
But the show also ran overtime with a Madonna & Graham repeat averaging 518,000 for the moment Sam Pang won Gold. To be clear, there would have been more seeing him take out the Gold, because that figure is an average of 11:15 – 12:30am. You’d expect a much higher number then a quick drop when the show ended at 11:40pm.
Meanwhile The Block was still strong at 1.36m -will it be the only time this season the show was beaten? Portrait Artist of the Year returned to 574,000 while 10 was not even trying with a Gogglebox repeat at just 226,000 ahead of a season return.
Seven News was #1 at 1.5m.
Nine News pulled 1.37m then 60 Minutes (599,000) and Nine News Late (290,000).
ABC News was 787,000 then Compass (267,000), Treasure & Dirt (217,000) and Falling (132,000).
10 News managed 267,000 / 164,000 then Watson (99,000), 10 News+ (135,000) and FBI (87,000).
SBS World News was 214,000 / 135,000 then Alexander The Great: Legendary Conqueror (106,000), Amazon: The Lost World (85,000) and Castle Secrets (54,000).
