CHEYENNE — South Side Sluggers Boxing Club athlete Chaplain Tyvavion Russell picked up a victory at the Athletics and Beyond showcase Saturday in Aurora, Colorado.
Russell defeated Nikko Arellano of Aurora’s A1 Boxing by unanimous decision in the senior male novice 198-200-pound class.
The Sluggers host the Front Range Invitational on Sept. 19 at the Depot Plaza in downtown Cheyenne.
