The French big man one year after the initial talks with the Spanish club is back for more

Barcelona is in talks with Yoan Makoundou (2.07, 26 ), according to BeBasket, with the Spanish club circling back to the player they also wanted last summer.
According to the report, the player had reached an agreement with Barcelona in the summer of 2025, but at the time AS Monaco blocked his departure.
Makoundou spent last season between Monaco and China playing for the Fujian Sturgeons, returning to the Monegasque club after Nikola Mirotic’s injury and being part of the team that won the French league.
