If there’s one animal almost everyone is instantly smitten with, it’s the capybara. There’s just something about them that makes people fall in love, and when you add a baby to the mix, the cuteness is almost too much to handle.

The capybaras at Jungle Doria’s Wildlife Park in Arcadia, Florida, welcomed new pups in mid-July, and visitors have been hoping to catch a glimpse of them ever since. A few lucky guests spotted one of the babies swimming with Mom and Dad, and when the proud mama swam over as if she were showing off her precious little one, they couldn’t help but be delighted!

Could that tiny baby swimming beside Mom and Dad possibly be any cuter?

The park previously shared a video of one of the pups swimming less than 24 hours after birth, and we can’t help but wonder if this is the same little one. All we know is that if we worked there, we’d never get anything done because we’d spend the entire day watching the adorable babies!

Viewers Can’t Handle All This Capybara Cuteness

We loved reading through the comments, and it was pretty clear viewers were just as excited as we were to see the capybara pup. @emilymarylouise pointed out, “Mini potato on big potato.” @Eggie shouted, “CAPYFAMILY!”

Commenter @Jin wondered, “How do they look so dry even when they come up?” @Megan Paolucci replied, “They actually feel like coconuts; their hair is very coarse and doesn’t really hold water.”

Another commenter pointed out, “The panicked squeaking! He’s just a little guy.” If you didn’t hear it, you might want to watch it again because it makes the video that much cuter!
