EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (19 August), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders is airing a major revelation for Priya Nandra-Hart in a new episode that’s already available on BBC iPlayer. Following spoilers of a life-changing development for Priya, who’s been having an affair with Max Branning, the BBC soap is showing on screen that the character played by Sophie Khan Levy is pregnant.
In tonight’s scenes, Cindy and Kim Fox’s hen dos are off to a bad start when Max oversleeps after spending the night with Priya. He spots multiple missed calls from his fiancée Cindy and makes excuses when he bumps into her at the café.

Cindy buys Max’s lies and, blissfully unaware about the affair, she even ropes in Priya to help her with the hen do preparations. Later on, a guilt-ridden Priya heads to the Boxing Den to meet with Ravi Gulati.
Fans know that Ravi intends to propose to Priya but, when he gets down on one knee in the ring, he can’t help but notice her mind seems elsewhere. A conflicted Priya sheds a tear, promising to think about Ravi’s proposal as he’s left deflated.
She then tells Max about Ravi’s surprise proposal and insists they should stop seeing each other, with Max agreeing for everyone’s sake.
Later on at the Vic, Priya reluctantly joins in the celebrations for Cindy and Max’s wedding.

Cindy tries to get Priya to down a “cheeky” tequila shot and ignores her protests, but the joke’s on her when Priya stands up and is sick all over Cindy’s pristine hen do outfit.
“Now that is the cherry on the cake!” Kat Moon comments from behind the bar.
In the final scenes, Priya sneaks into the bathroom at the pub to have a pregnancy test. As she awaits the result, the soap’s iconic “doof doof” plays.
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
