The squads for the 2026 Marsh AFL National Futures Boys Squad have been revealed

TASMANIA’S batch of under-17 signings are set to play in an under-17 curtain-raiser on Grand Final day just days before they join the Devils as the club’s first signings.
The likes of Axel Walsh and Jake Miller, who are both red-hot favourites to be a part of the Devils’ group of 17-year-olds they sign this season ahead of their draft campaign next year, have been selected in the 47-player squad for the Marsh AFL National Futures game.
It will be played at the MCG on Grand Final morning ahead of the premiership decider and be the final talent game of the year for recruiters as they get an early read on the 2027 draft crop.
A number of players with famous bloodlines are in the squad, which will be split into two teams and coached by Tasmania’s under-18 coach Scott Moore and Kris Pendlebury, the brother of Collingwood champion Scott who coaches at Gippsland Power.
Essendon father-son prospect Koby Bewick (the son of Darren) is in the squad as is Jake Beams, the son of former Demon Ben. Jett Flower, the exciting grandson of Melbourne champion Robbie, has also been selected as has Port Adelaide father-son prospect Tevita Rodan, the son of David, and Percy Burgoyne, the son of Shaun. Rodan is also eligible as a Next Generation Academy player to the Bombers next year.
The Devils have access to a total of 12 under-17s players across 2026 and 2027, with a maximum of eight in a single year, under a key part of their list build rules.
