In the recent sports business update, the defending Bundesliga champions, FC Bayern Munich, has announced a landmark commercial partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL). Through this strategic bond, both entities will be looking forward to improving their presence in respective sports. The NHL looks forward to making hockey more popular in Germany, whereas the Bavarians are eyeing their development in the North American belt.
Fan-Focused Programmes and Extensive Digital Campaigns to Be Part of the Esteemed Collab
The arrangement outlines numerous fan-related projects between the NHL and FC Bayern, including social media and digital campaigns, co-branded merchandise and content opportunities, street hockey events in Munich, watch parties, matchday projects at Allianz Arena, youth projects, hospitality engagements, and business networking opportunities. In addition, the partners will also work together on cross-promotion and appearances, experiential activations, and community engagement and storytelling projects to create an unforgettable experience for both football and hockey fans.

NHL Officials Optimistic About Partnership

Prior to this signing, the Munich-based club already signed a commercial renewal with Miele for the upcoming BuLi season.
