Robinson’s parents, Bud and Maureen, wore custom red T-shirts to the event that featured a picture of the veteran forward wearing a Canes jersey as a kid and another picture of him lifting the Stanley Cup over his head.

“From Hollydell to Carolina, Go Canes!” was written on the shirts.

Fans and young hockey players also got to take pictures with Robinson and the Stanley Cup.

Robinson has spent two of his nine NHL seasons with the Hurricanes. He played seven seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he was teammates with Gaudreau from 2022-24.
