Lucas Herrington made another piece of Australian football history on Saturday night.
The 18-year-old made his Premier League debut as newly promoted Hull City hosted Manchester United, just over a week after completing his record-breaking move from Colorado Rapids.
He became the third-youngest Australian to play in the Premier League at 18 years and 351 days old.

Only two Australians have made their Premier League debuts at a younger age, including one of the greatest players the country has ever produced.
Harry Kewell remains comfortably out in front, having been just 17 when he made his Leeds United debut in 1996, while Aiden O’Neill was also younger than Herrington when he first appeared for Burnley two decades later.
Herrington moves ahead of the likes of Caleb Watts and Brad Smith, becoming the first Australian teenager to play in the competition since Watts in 2021.
