Hulu has released some of the first images for Season 4 of Reasonable Doubt, which feature Morris Chestnut, who returns in a recurring role, and Durrell “Tank” Babbs and Meagan Good, who were promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season. Also featured are Taylor Polidore Williams, Brandee Evans and La La Anthony.
Season 4 picks up following a brutal attack that leaves Jax’s (Emayatzy Corinealdi) family and newly minted law firm shaken. Nothing feels certain, especially their future. With Jax’s most loyal client at the center of a spiraling media disaster, The Stewart Firm is thrust into a high-stakes battle where every move could mean survival … or collapse of the firm. As grief lingers and pressure mounts, one question looms: Can they rebuild in time or will the cost of moving forward too quickly be everything they stand to lose?
Created by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, Reasonable Doubt follows Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (Corinealdi) as she deals with past traumas, a struggling marriage, motherhood, and a murder case while trying to keep her life together.
Hunter serves as creator, writer and executive producer. Kerry Washington executive produces alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street, Larry Wilmore for Wilmore Films, Tamara Gregory, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina and Erika L. Johnson. Shawn Holley, Jon Leshay and Zahir McGhee serve as co-executive producers. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
Reasonable Doubt returns for its fourth season on October 6 with three episodes, followed by one new episode every Tuesday.
