Following the second season premiere hitting HBO Max, the streaming service has officially released the opening titles dance number for the new season of “Peacemaker”.
The first season’s title sequence, set to Wig Wam’s “Do You Wanna Taste It,” went majorly viral, and it is considered one of the hallmarks of the series.
The new titles, set to Foxy Shazam’s “Oh Lord,” adopt a similar approach but involve a lot more people and vary up the moves. It also teases a closer connection between John Cena and Jennifer Holland’s characters.
Frank Grillo, Freddie Stroma, Robert Patrick, Tim Meadows and more all get involved in the number, which likely won’t be as well-received because the first was such a surprise.
The new season is currently sitting at a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 77% on Metacritic.
The eight-episode run of “Peacemaker” Season 2 will release weekly until the finale airs on October 9th.
