The latest reports show that 42 Australians are currently missing, with the breakdown identifying 36 in Nepal and 6 in Tibet.

Here’s just some of the people we’ve been able to identify as among the missing.

1. Wife and mother Shylaja Muralitharan, aged 42.

2. Husband and father Chandrasekaran Muralitharan, aged 47.

3. Son  Ashwin Muralitharan, aged 14.

4. Son Aarush Muralitharan, aged 11.

14. Newcastle woman Reshma Patel, aged 46, who had just completed a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash with the Isha Foundation.

15. Sydney woman Sumi Adhikari, aged 41, who was travelling with the Isha Foundation.
