THE extent to which Ford dominated the Repco Sprint Cup decider should not be underestimated, per a deeper dive into the stats archives.
The Blue Oval took a Supercars ‘grand slam’ of sorts, sweeping every pole position, fastest lap, win and podium placing on offer across the three races at the Ipswich Super440.
Poles went to Matt Payne (two) and Will Brown. Fastest lap bonus points were scooped up by Broc Feeney, Brown and Brodie Kostecki.
Brown (three), Kostecki (three), Feeney (two) and Payne collectively accounted for the nine podiums.

It’s the first time since Supercars shifted to awarding podiums on a race basis (rather than round) that a manufacturer has singlehandedly cleaned up all those accolades at a three-race meeting.
In that period, it has occurred once on a four-race weekend, the 2013 Austin 400, which was blitzed by Holden through Triple Eight, Brad Jones Racing and Tekno Autosports.
There have been three instances of a two-race grand slam in that same span, all of which were achieved by General Motors: 2013 Homebush (Holden), 2016 Homebush (Holden) and 2024 Darwin (Chevrolet).
As for Ford, you have to go more than three decades back to its last grand slam (replacing the podium criteria with top-three finishes) of a multi-race round!
That happened twice in the 1993 Australian Touring Car Championship, at the Phillip Island and Eastern Creek rounds, both of which involved a single qualifying and two races.
Fast forward to 2026 and Ford is now on streaks of 13 poles in a row, six straight fastest laps and nine race wins on the trot.
