Stephen Curry will be dealing with a major concern during Year 18 with the Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors aren’t viewed as an NBA Championship favorite in the upcoming season.
Moreover, with Stephen Curry entering Year 18 of his NBA career, it’s hard to see him carrying the Dubs throughout the season.
To make things worse, the 4x NBA champ will be dealing with a lingering injury in the upcoming campaign.

According to Warriors analyst Monte Poole, the Baby-Faced Assassin isn’t 100% fit and will have to manage a knee injury.
“There’s at least some lingering concern about the knee. From what I’ve been told, it can be managed, but it has to be managed and that’s a new thing for Steph because people always say he is the most conditioned guy in the league and now he has to manage a knee,” Poole stated.
The injury troubled Curry throughout the 2025-26 season as he featured in just 43 games for the Warriors. But does it mean fans will see Steph for limited games in the upcoming season as well?
“So, I’m curious to see how it turns out, but Steph seemed pretty confident that he’ll be able to go out there and put out 70+ games,” Poole added.

The Warriors insider seems positive that with proper management, Curry will play in the majority of the team’s regular season games.
It’s great news for the Warriors as they will hope to make a deep run come playoff time and it will heavily depend on the veteran guard’s fitness.
