An international flight bound for Sydney has been thrown into chaos after passengers were forced to tie a man to his seat after he allegedly began acting erratically.
The Daily Telegraph reports the male passenger was acting aggressively on an Emirates flight.
He was tackled by other passengers and bound to his seat with cable ties.
It is understood authorities are treating the matter as a mental health incident.
The incident happened with six hours remaining on the flight, which is due to land in Sydney on Thursday night.
Australian Federal Police (AFP) declined to comment.
