Fiji have become the first nation to announce their extended squad for this year’s upcoming Rugby League World Cup

The star-studded squad includes a former PNG international, a set of brothers from the Wests Tigers and multiple NRL representatives.

Headlining the 40-man extended squad is Tigers trio Apisai Koroisau, Jahream Bula and Sunia Turuva, while the Fainu brothers – Sione, Samuela and Latu – will look to represent the country for the first time.

Elsewhere, former NRL players Maika Sivo, Semi Valemei and Waqa Blake are a few of the names from the Super League competition who have been named.
