The money was allocated by Fife Investment Fund, covering 70 per cent of the cost for its new high-tech scanner.

It provides objective data to support assessments, track patient progress and improve understanding of neuro-musculoskeletal function, which is how your nervous system, muscles, and bones work together to control movement.

Ryan Copleston, who took over the clinic in February 2022 and later relocated it to Dunfermline Business Centre, said: “We want to move beyond a purely pain-based, symptom-led and reactive model of care.

“The new technology gives us a more objective way to assess and monitor aspects of nervous system-related function, helping patients better understand their progress.”

Since his takeover, the clinic has grown from a single chiropractor to a team of five with an equal number of assistants.

The investment, guided by Business Gateway Fife adviser Karen Cassells, is also supporting the recruitment of an additional chiropractor and expanding patient capacity.

She said: “The funding has enabled the business to invest in technology that supports a more proactive, function-focused approach to care while strengthening its long-term growth ambitions.”
