The 2027 calendar is already stacking up to be a major one, and today, one of the most anticipated announcements has finally been unveiled. After a fifteen-year dry spell, Radiohead have announced their return to Australian shores.
The advertised shows will be the only ones the band plays, but rest assured, sixteen dates have already been listed. Traversing Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, Radiohead will take up their residency within the entire month of May and a little bit of June. All shows are licensed and all-ages, so even the newest fans can enjoy the cinema of their shows. To add, Frontier reveals the concert will take place “in the round” formation, meaning the stage will be centred within the venue, allowing viewing from all angles – much like the band’s European dates.
The ticket process is a little bit different for an act of this calibre, with fans expected to pre-register for a chance (not a guarantee) at tickets. It is advised that fans head to the Frontier website and register their details before Thursday 10th of September. Successful applicants will receive correspondence on September 11th, with the first chance to grab tickets to the monumental occasion being on the 15th of September (9:00 AM local time).
Ticket prices start at $139.00 and rise to $649.00 for the devout. All ticket purchases will include an automatic $2 donation to Greenpeace Australia Pacific and the Australian Marine Conservation Society! After sales, Radiohead will match the total amount with their own donation.
Don’t miss your chance to see one of the most influential bands of the modern era; the experience may just be all you need.
For more information and to navigate the intriguing ticket-buying process, we implore you to head to the Frontier website here and get up to speed on all the deets!
