Braeden Bowman signed a six-year, $20.4 million contract with the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday. It has an average annual value of $3.4 million and will begin with the 2027-28 season.
The 23-year-old forward is entering the final season of a two-year, entry-level contract he signed on March 2, 2025, and could have become a restricted free agent after this season.
An undrafted free agent, Bowman had 26 points (eight goals, 18 assists) and averaged 14:08 of ice time in 54 games as a rookie last season. He also had four power-play points (two power-play goals).
Bowman appeared in one Stanley Cup Playoff game for the Golden Knights.
Vegas, which lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in six games in the Stanley Cup Final, opens its regular season against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sept. 29.
