A 20-year-old man will appear before court accused of shooting a man outside of a home on the NSW Central Coast earlier this week.
Gunshots rung out over the quiet street of Lakedge Ave in Berkeley Vale about 6.15am on Wednesday.
Emergency services arrived soon after and found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand and torso.
He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital in a helicopter and remains in a stable condition.
Just over a day later, at about 8.45am on Thursday, police arrested a 20-year-old man at Gosford Train Station, about 20km southwest of the crime scene.

Police allegedly located cocaine and cannabis during a search of the man’s belongings and executed a search warrant at his home in Penrith, Western Sydney, later that afternoon.
Officers allegedly seized a Glock pistol, eight rounds of ammunition and “other items relevant to their investigation” while searching the home.
The young man has since been charged with 10 alleged offences, including a single count of shoot at with intent to murder.
He is expected to appear before Bail Division Local Court on Friday.
