Huawei Mate XT 2 triple-foldable phone is now available for its first sale. The device launched this week with eye-catching upgrades, including the first LogicFolding-based Kirin 9050 Pro chipset. It is now open for purchase on the official VMall store.
Mate XT 2 is the new-generation tri-fold in the Huawei family with a new form factor and specs. From design to core parameters, the device brings a lot of upgrades!
After the pre-order phase, Huawei has shelved the Mate XT 2 tri-fold on the sale rack with five storage variants. The price details for all these options are as follows:
16GB + 256GB = 19999 yuan
16GB + 512GB = 21999 yuan
16GB + 1TB = 23999 yuan
16GB + 1TB Privacy Screen Edition = 24999 yuan
16GB + 2TB stylus set = 29999 yuan
Note that purchasing the stylus set separately will cost 1199 yuan and will come with a free rotating stand case. In addition, the company has introduced a special camera kit for the device, worth 1499 yuan. It has a teleconverter with 13.5x zoom.
The device has a U-shaped design instead of the original zigzag pattern. It has a 12.3mm thickness when folded and 3.5mm thickness when folded. The new tri-fold features a 10.2-inch screen with 3K resolution and a 12.8:9 screen ratio.
For the first time, Huawei’s tri-foldable debuts with a cover screen measuring 6.5 inches and supports 6500 nits peak brightness. It has a redesigned dual-hinge mechanism that claims to provide improved durability over the previous models.
Another highlight is the hardware-level Privacy Display that blacks out the sides of the device’s screen without affecting the user’s normal view. It also supports first ECG analysis, HarmonyOS 7, and the LogicFolding-designed Kirin 9050 Pro chip.
Huawei Mate XT 2 comes in three shades: Black, White, and Purple. It sports a 50MP 1/1.28-inch large sensor LOFIC RYYB, a 40MP RYYB ultrawide lens, a 50MP RYYB 3.5x zoom sensor, and a third-gen multispectral sensor.
